Twenty years ago I broke the head of my humerus while skiing. It was repaired but recently the shoulder joint developed painful arthritis. I was referred to Mr Narvani at St Peters and he subsequently performed a total reverse shoulder replacement at Ashford hospital. The shoulder has recovered well and I have improved mobility and more importantly, no pain. I would strongly recommend Mr Narvani to anyone considering upper limb surgery.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Narvani and his team. I am a firm believer in the H.N.S. and what it stands for. From the outset of my first appointment with Mr Narvani I felt totally confident and secure. Everything was explained to me in great detail, giving me the pro's and con's of having my Shoulder operated on to repair the damage that I had done to my Shoulder. The operation was a total success and I have so far, had two follow up visits with Mr Narvani. I am treated with the utmost courtesy and as a person not another number. Please keep up the great work that you are doing.

Skilled surgeon. Had a shoulder rotator cuff repair and very happy with the outcome six months in (obviously the physio's and following the recovery advice and exercises are also important but starts with the surgeon). Would recommend him.

I fell over and hurt my right arm/shoulder. I was a very active person at the gym and played a lot of tennis prior to this injury. I all of a sudden could not hardly move my arm at all. I saw a specialist after finding I had a couple of large tears in my right shoulder. He informed me bluntly and coldly that they were irrepairable and would not be able to get much movement back. He did say I might be able to have an operation to take a muscle from my back to try to use to repair the tears but he could not do this operation and was not sure of its success. Obviously quite devastated with all this I was then referred to Mr Narvani from my GP. Right from the start Mr Narvani was very warm and friendly and was willing to explore options to try and give my as much movement back in my arm as possible. I very much enjoy playing tennis and really wanted to be able to play again even though the first specialist said I would never be able to play again. Mr Narvani said he would operate on my arm and maybe could use a patch that he had previously had success with, He stated clearly that there was no promise that the operation would be a success but at least he agreed to try and repair the arm as best he could. I was so happy with this. Short story of the long story is Mr Narvani had SUCCESS with repairing the tears without using a patch and was just so lovely from our first meeting. He then referred me to a physio and after strictly following the fantastic physio's instructions each visit I basically nearly have full movement back in just 6 months since the operation and have been playing tennis again. Thank you so very much Mr Narvani for taking the time to explore different options to fix my damaged shoulder and to enable me to have as much use of my arm as possible and to be able to play tennis again. I am also forever grateful to you for using your expertise, skill and care to operate so successfully to repair my shoulder. Mr Narvani you have given me so much happiness back in my life now I better get off to the gym. Thanks soooooooo much.
